RE: The Format War Is Over
In ten years not only will we say to each other, “Remember HD-DVDs?” We’ll also likely be saying “Remember DVDs?” I have lived here in Brazil for well over two years. Do you know how many people’s houses I have been in who have VHS players? Zero. None. It struck me as odd at first, but now it is normal. DVD is the current way to transfer video. CDs are for...
Official: HD DVD dead and buried, format war is... →
While this does not directly effect me at the moment, it will in the future. I am glad it turned out this way. From the beginning it appeared to me that HD-dvd was far inferior technically speaking. I was not excited about the prospect of it being another BETA format.

Speech or presentation? Some really great tips on how to put together a presentation… or a speech. One tip is to stick to the presentation software that you like to help you avoid writing a book instead of a presentation. Great stuff.
Beat Box Tuba →
Great stuff. I used to play tuba, and messed around like that sometimes. But never thought to actually make it into sheet music.

I found this chart very useful for helping me decide for whom I would cast my vote. It is full of links, short videos, and summaries of the candidates positions on various issues. You can also choose the “Learn and rate” tab to rate the candidates for yourself. Let me know if this is helpful to you.

I like how both Clinton and Edwards all but endorse Obama—at least that is the way it reads. I am celebrating that Clinton did not win; after that I am not sure what to think. To clarify: I am not anti-female-in-the-White-House. Merely anti-Hillary-Clinton-in-the-White-house.
